Unfortunately for every supporter she has, there’s another who has bid her good riddance. What she has done sends an important message to those in power, but their failing is that they also believe that money makes them immune to such things. It’s not the vaccine they believe it to be.

Having been out of the press since 2022, I can honestly say I'm so much happier and healthier than I was during the 15 years I spent in it.
Liveable wage? Check.
Financial and job stability? Check.
Actual benefits, including therapy? Check.
PTO without included mandatory guilt trips? Check.

Yup. I don’t remember what I paid for the Post but I just cancelled and pledged to subscribe to Ann’s substack. I’ve really been trying to support the journalists of the Post and LA Times by hanging in but their owners have made it impossible for me.
