LOL! I'll never post specifics, those are going to the grave with me, but I'll say this: don't be afraid to add canned veggies. They absorb the flavor of the sauce, so you can't really tell. My chili doesn't *look* like chili, but it tastes like it. 🤣

When I was in college, I desperately wanted to make chili but didn't have enough meat to really make it feel like a complete meal, so I started chucking whatever veggies I had into the pot -- broccoli, corn, Brussels sprouts, baby carrots...it was an interesting concoction. LOL

See, now that's kinda how I ended up at my current favorite version. lol! Years ago when I got yelled at for not eating enough veggies, I asked my husband if he minded if I experimented with the chili recipe. He loves it, so he didn't care. I made several versions. We now have something odd.

I'm the only one who ever uses it & I only use it for dry bread, so basically I wipe it off & slap it back on the magnet. Also who ever has a stranger that *might* have celiac just drop by, or anyone drop by for that matter. This is 2024, the celiacs better text first if they want clean knives.
