the only "condition" any US state needs to meet for disaster relief should just be answering "are you a US state y/n"

If they can't pass raising the debt ceiling on its own merit, then holding back emergency funds is just a sign of how thin the GOP majority is.

So, there are 43 Democrats and 9 Republican Congresspeople from California (both Senators are Democrats). Gotta admit, ignoring that delegation and trying to deny access to emergency funds are both boneheaded moves. But, Johnson is not the brightest.
Sick bunch.
Just the kind of thing they'd be cheering for -"Librul" city, "Librul" state, "Librul" movie star houses going up in flames...

That’s going to be funny… 🍿
When a FEMA worker tried to skip aid for Trump voters, she got fired, and rightly so. But now we have a whole ass case of our politicians talking about putting limits on aid to US citizens, and people are cheering this on? Like WUUUUT?
You gotta dream.

If it were to somehow form an independent country it’d take a lot of bureaucracy and reshaping of the government to do it, that’s for sure.
CA is the 5th largest economy in the world on its own. Not sure how that translates to being able to run a country, though.
Sad.
What's Mike going to do?
California Spirit, baby, for the win!
