Having a hobby or a daily "ritual", even as plain as preparing a drink, can make for a good time to reflect and recover. So yeah I think there are substantial odds that any benefits are caused by the routine rather than any potential pharmaceutical effects of the extract.
That's a good enough explanation on a surface level, and I appreciate your effort a lot. Thank you!
But he has so many daily routines dedicated to recovery & reflection. Relearning to control one of his hands, physical therapy, speech practice, et cetera.
Could be just time & neuroplasticity doing the work? P sure I remember learning that even in "fully developed" brains an injury can cause functions to be reassigned/distributed among the uninjured parts. It just takes time, like any other healing.
In what journals though? He is full of woo and publishes in journals like "BMC complementary and alternative medicine". Just because something is peer reviewed doesn't make it a strong point of evidence, it depends on which peers are doing the reviewing...
Is this thanks to some sort of advertisement? Because I haven't seen any studies or anything confirming that this is good for you or if it has any benefits.
Is mushroom coffee bad as a whole or is it a trend that's being abused? I'm pretty uninformed about this but one of my friends swore by the Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee a few years ago and I enjoyed it around then.
More so on the trendy side of things. Nothing dangerous about reishi/lions mane/ect but how much it actually benefits you are less than what they claim
You are on the right track. However people are saying that Quantum, Quantum, Quantum mushrooms provide an astounding 3749% more good vibe energy than regular old Quantum mushrooms.
What’s there to debunk? Chaga mushrooms have been used as a tea for a long time. These are just mixes of chaga and coffee… unless you’re getting some wack shit…
Is this a trend? I mean… nearly all supplements have a problem with quality control, but mushroom coffee should be just straight up coffee mixed with mushroom tea. There’s no reason to highlight it over anything else…

I was skeptical... of pasteurization, public education, living in a community, but most of all: of the bean. In its wake I have turned, instead, to the mushroom.

He claims "I noticed very immediately my brain is improving".
Is this placebo? Can stroke patients HAVE placebo? Or is there something to it?
But he has so many daily routines dedicated to recovery & reflection. Relearning to control one of his hands, physical therapy, speech practice, et cetera.
So idk… might be some other explanation….
… Unless yall are getting some weird other shit…
Go bird flu!
More power to anyone who enjoys it, but like alkaline water, it probably won't do what Gwyneth Paltrow says it does for her
It is all too funny
The real mushroom psychos to go after are the people who claim to sell hallucinogenic shrooms but it’s not psilocybin
My stomach still hasn't forgiven me.
(Please don’t drink raw cream, everyone)
