I agree that there is no absolute certainty of any historical fact from that time… but there is no doubt that he was working class, son of a carpenter or similar trade. Merry Christmas to you too!

Oh my, what an ideologically-driven, anachronistic and leninist text. Jesus was not a working-class revolutionary. His all thing was that the real relm was not of this world, that you need to love everyone and find peaceful ways to assert your dignity when humiliated. Marxism is more Nietzschean...

He did not do that because he thought the merchants were an oppressive class. He did it because the temple is God's realm and is sacred. They were desecrating it. He was a rabbi, a religious figure.

The only time Jesus used violence was against the merchants, & his rhetoric was unmistakably ‘from below’ & criticized the rich and powerful. He was a religious figure akin to the “worker priests” in Latin America who lived in community & shared their life with the poor, resisting oppression.
