UCLA spent $12.3 million to suppress pro-Palestine protests, resulting in over 200 arrests and withheld degrees. All this to silence students standing against genocide.

The university just decided to cancel our event. Dark times for academic freedom and international law and a very dangerous precedent www.tagesspiegel.de/berlin/franc...

In 2022 I contributed to an “Enquête on Populism” in Slagmark, alongside Cas Mudde, Chantal Mouffe, Jan-Werner Muller & Anton Jäger, which has now been made available open access: tidsskrift.dk/slagmark/art... Since it is in Danish, here is an English translation 1/2

I will be speaking alongside Wendy Brown in this great conference. Please consider applying and join the discussion on theorizing liberation in crisis. 👇

At last the International Criminal Court has approved the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence secretary Yoav Gallant. These warrants are insufficient since there are many more war criminals in the Israeli government, but at least it is a start.

Students with TU Darmstadt held a rally today to protest the cancelation of my lecture, and they invited me to give speech and a presentation online. I spoke about the new IHRA definition of antisemitism that prohibits criticism of Israel as an apartheid state. 🧵

Another cancelation in Germany: James Bridle was awarded the Schelling architectural theory prize but it has now been rescinded due to Bridle signing a letter in support of BDS. taz.de/James-Bridle...
