A lot of navel-gazing over whether or not to quit the Nazi bar owned by a Nazi who invites, promotes and pays his Nazi friends (and that doesn't include the CSAM apologia).

If you are comfortable drinking in the Nazi bar, you are happy to be labelled a Nazi.

I don't fully follow the argument for staying. Twitter is a malign influence now because (1) it's skewed to the right and (2) it drives the news agenda.

If you remove the oxygen of publicity (which will naturally happen if all reasonable commentators move away) you take away its power.

The quickest thing this Labour government can do to show Musk it’s serious is to get all govt departments on Blue Sky today.

That enables so many to move their monitoring here from Twitter.

Probably more of an impact to anything in the Online Safety Act.

This one’s a great listen. @lewisgoodall.bsky.social giving his usual nuanced and insightful perspective, sadly no @maitlis.bsky.social who is usually excellent value to shake things up.

I’d recommend this to all who’ve yet to encounter this pod.
