I asked Google the best way to boycott the USA as a response to tariffs. It suggested everything except boycotts. When pushed it told me all the bad things about boycotts and their unexpected consequences. Not what I asked Google.

I've had conversations with ChatGPT to find out its politics, and hence its programmers. A fossil-fuel loving right-wing agenda didn't get me points. I tried a Social-Democrat approach which it quite liked. I once told it that it would make a good little Sociallist. It took that as a compliment.
