Ah, true. Bear in mind many are in work benefits, as it is hard to live on minimum wage, even if one is single. With a family? Pretty impossible. Of course the biggest benefits go to MPs; 2nd homes, utility bills, subsidised food and bar, and of course the £300/day to unelected House of Lords.
