This is one reason it's important not to *create* content for "X." You are participating in a political process. It's also a reason for reporters not to give them usage numbers or use DMs for important conversations.

FWIW, a big second to Hunter's broader point: journalists go lots of places you likely won't. That's our job.
That said, aside from other ethical questions about X, one for journalists to work on: it's now the platform of a (de facto?) govt employee, which raises questions of state (social?) media.
