We need press at the WH to even be asking the question of how they can do better. Otherwise we'll all be peanut gallerying state media.

Stopped watching legacy media when we cut the cable cord in 2015. Stopped paying attention to the two newspapers when they became as bad as legacy media. Independent media is the only way to go these days.

Maybe we need ‘better’ journalists at these events. The balance between maintaining access and holding power to account is a fine, but very important line to toe.
