Here’s the thing though. Part of the reason there is a lot of anger about the way Democrats campaigned on the existential threat to democracy is that when they lost, they snapped RIGHT back to congenial rhetoric about bipartisanship and working with the Trump admin. You can’t have it both ways!

OK but let’s get our story straight, folks. When in 2023-24 Biden/Harris called Trump an existential they got lectured for not speaking about middle class economic worries. And now Dems getting lectured when they do.
