Canada has to seize this moment to dramatically increase our own ability to produce vaccines domestically and fill the void left by the FDA. I hope the federal government is working on this, but I fear they are not.

Just a reminder, again, that Canada imports about $2B worth of human vaccines each year, 51% of which come from the U.S. We export just $675M. Belgium is our next largest international supplier at $593M.

I meant it more as a practical statement.
folks close to the border have been crossing for decades for healthcare. It would make sense to expect at least some medical tourism to increase.
