The amazing thing is, the Democrats just held the line on this in the Senate (45 voted to protect Trans athletes, 2 didn't vote but at least didn't vote the wrong way) but this chud ignores that completely while insisting there's a groundswell of senior Democrats eager to abandon Trans athletes.

I don't think any politician is owed an apology or praise for positions. I think you should report what they say, say what the facts actually say, and go from there. This kind of analysis and coverage is as worthless as it is hurtful.

I also definitely think there is room for analysis in a story, but at a certain point your bias, or your editor's , or whoever wrote the headline's bias, comes through and it is an opinion piece at a certain point. I do plenty of analysis in my reporting, but you have to let the facts lead you.

We can agree that public opinion, as it exists right now in polls that have been taken, shows that a majority of people are against trans people in sports and trans youth getting gac, but it did not happen that way over night and acting like it did is irresponsible.
