At 2023 Winter Meetings, the BBWAA once again voted overwhelmingly in favor of a proposal to improve transparency of Hall of Fame voting. We asked HOF to change the check-box option on publishing ballots post-election from an opt-in ("yes" to make public) to opt-out. HOF board rejected our request.
