In general these are people who have been told their whole lives that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and they took it a little too literally

Jmvho but the "Jesus" angle is an American wrapper to a fundamentally *caste based* dynamics. Society self-organizes into privilege based cliques (which harden over time into castes).
I feel John Dreze, the Belgian-Indian economist correctly surmised in 2014 that we are seeing a global upper castes reaction to the redistribution of wealth to subaltern groups via globalization.
This is the same Christ who will never give you a boulder too heavy for you to lift. He literally gave you pebbles because he knows you're f-ing useless.
Also, the idea that "you can be whatever you want to be" is obviously not true, but some believe it. Even if you have an ability in a certain area, achievement requires work. And our abilities don't always go with our aspirations.
Sure, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. But Christ never asked no one to blame his fellow human being for anything. For with God, all things are possible. You might want to stop calling the name of the Lord in vain.
Btw, taking the lord's name in vain means the shit MAGA does not yelling JESUS CHRIST when you stub your toe. One of many edicts Christians cant get right. Spare the rod is the other big one.
Christians are the ones that blaspheme all the time and cherry puck the Bible. I left religion years ago, because of the inconsistencies, lies, and being fear mongered about going to hell if we dont go to church etc
The walk of faith is personal. It depends mostly on where you stand with the Lord, rather what people around you do. He said, "Come onto me all ye that are heavy-loaded and I shall give you rest". Let us look onto Christ, the author and the finisher of our faith. It is all about you and him first.
Regardless bro, was your decision to follow Christ based on people you might have never thought to meet or your decision was based on what you know Christ is and whom you believed he is? Was it a Christ centered decision or a community centered decision?
I AM WOMAN, Bro. Two, I am spiritual. I don't need a church nor people to tell me who, what, where, when, and why I should believe in a higher power. My family chooses to stay in that religion and allow that control their lives. I no longer do.
Yeah, but how probable are they in reality? If it were as probable as it is easily spoken that 'all things are possible with God' to encourage the mediocre to be more than what is possible, then we'd all be living in peace, progress, and prosperity with each other. I know that's Satan's fault, right
"If you have the faith of the size of a mustard see then you can move mountains" is what we are told too, and "things happen for a reason." 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Reactionary right-wing politics, racist, misogynists, bigoted people and politics has always been about grievances. Right-wing politicians exploit this insecurity, creating culture wars and wedge issue. Like today’s current “DEI HIRES!” & trans moral panics—as a distraction
Aaaaaand, what if compensation kept pace with shareholder returns as a share of earnings growth (vs. skyrocketing stock buybacks and dividends) since 1970?
Would there be as much competition and bitterness between coworkers over "promotions"?

"I got X% in my test but I won't get an admit but lower caste gets admit even tho they got X-15%"

My favourite Sinbad Movie Quote:
"Trust in Allah.... but tie up your camel."
or
"God helps those who help themselves."
