I'm getting quite tired of explaining to some authors, and other people who have profiles in book spaces, that using AI generation for basically any purpose shows you:
- At best are very ignorant of the book community
- At worst hold authors, artists, and other creators in active contempt

It's not like there aren't enough authors around for there always to be other options.
Quite alarming when he's the editor of a renowned magazine. There are no ethical uses of AI in art. 🤷♂️
It would be aggressively entitled for me not to believe that.
You simply cannot use them and still claim to have respect for the people who created what fed the machine.
It's nearly 2025. Ignorance won't work as an excuse for long.
Using AI is like pulling on a runner when climbing: you cheat yourself, as well as all the others.
