His use of the term “Eskimo”. I am certain Kendrick meant no disrespect. It has often been seen as a slur against native peoples who call themselves “Inuit”. In truth many Americans still do now know this.
Not just Americans, the band Electric Callboy changed their name for the same reason, They replaced Eskimo with Electric, made a statement that was essentially "we didn't know it was a slur, our music is for everyone who wants to have fun" and moved on.
