I listen everyday to BBC from Australia, I love it. But why have they apparently axed Hardtalk and Science in Action?
I’m very upset because they’re such great programmes either great presenters.

You might say the BBC being attacked by Pols shows it is doing it's job, as long as the attacks come from all persuasions. The danger would be any of the attacks succeeding.

Spoiler: I’m biased having worked for the beeb across all areas including news. Lighting locations/studios and on attachment as a TO in Nottingham.
On the whole, those journalists and news ‘anchors’ I met were trustworthy and genuine in their reporting.

That said, there’s rotten apples in every barrel but very few at the beeb in my experience. I won’t mention names but a couple of regional journalists with high ambitions seemed to not worry about the truth for a good story but that was the exception rather than the rule. Long may it live to report.
