I think Rantanen's side is a bit misleading using vague terms. He said he was willing to take less than market value. From what I've read, he still wanted more than MacKinnon is making to which COL said GTFO. Ultimately, Rantanen has his ring, and now he wants to get seriously paid. COL can't do it.
