My favourite Brazilian phrase about a place that’s far away / in the middle of nowhere is na casa do caralho. It means “in the house of the penis”

Thank you for the thread. Next dinner with the Brazilian side of the family should be fun.
By the way, it has the same meaning as:
“Quer moleza? Pega no pau do papa”
which means
'Want softness? Grab the Pope's staff.'"
"A vida é dura para quem é mole" também é uma frase que ele usava muito.
Brazilian version sounds naughtier to me.
"Vc prefere ser cabeça de sardinha ou rabo de baleia?" (Would you like to be sardine's head or whale's tale?), referring to work in a small company as a leader+
It means its rainning dicks and my butthole is upside down in the clothes line 😅
We are so ambiguous!
mais por fora que calcanhar de franciscano = more outside than a Franciscan's heel; or
mais por fora que umbigo de vedete = more outside than a vedette's belly button (50's slang)
something like It's raining dicks and my ass is on the clothesline
"For life is hard on the Darling, lads.
and the damper's tough as rocks.
And the bulldog ants
get in your pants
and eat your Sunday socks.
(The Darling River basin would be a long way from Brazil!)
Btw there’s also “im Arsch der Welt“ in German🤓

"Suck it, it's grape flavoured"
Matou a pau!
The ‘casa do caralho’ has existed since the Portuguese caravels. ‘Caralho’ is the structure at the top of the masts used for observation. However, because it caused motion sickness, it was a form of punishment for the sailors.
"Can't believe my card was declined again even though I have enough funds. It's the butthole of the snake"
"- She just packed her stuff and left without saying a word, man"
- It's the butthole of the snake"
"Se fazendo de leitão vesgo pra mamar em duas tetas."
O mesmo que "se fazendo de bobo ou se fazendo de sonso."a
Nunca tinha ouvido
One of my favorites in english is: "What is done, is done."
When you mean that a person is being annoying:
Vai ver se estou lá na esquina! (Go see if I'm there on the corner!)
Whence an old joke.
Where do you spend your fifth honeymoon....?
"O que é um peido pra quem tá cagado?" = "What’s a fart to someone who's already crapped their pants?"
Lol
Mas gostei da thread
you will be flooded by brazilians in a blink of an eye
also, come do your search here, we do have something we call jeitinho brasileiro, it's worth seeing
Guess I'm learning it now, and like all good students, I'm learning all the swears first! 😂
"Vai pra casa do caralho"
Ou mesmo
"Vai pra puta que pariu"
Sorry 🤘😍
Who seeds wind harvests tempest
Ugly sons don’t have father (accountability)

Butiá is a type of coconut typical of southern South America. The outer pulp is citric and acidic, and is widely used in the production of liqueurs with our cachaça. Cheers! 🍹

You got it, a warning about the influence of bad companies...
shrimp that sleeps the wave takes
you can use this same word (caralho) to curse, so..
"In the house of Penis.... I think it should be better to say "There at the house of the cock"
Penis is too polite for this slang
