Cancer death rates in older children (not just under-5s) have also decreased in the UK over the last 70 years.

Is this less environmental pollution & less exposure to cigarette smoke?

I'm thinking of London Fog, and LA Smog. Air is so much cleaner.

Are there other chemicals we're less exposed to that I'm missing?
