a dqviii remaster that adds the 3ds content to make a "definitive" version would be a day-one grab. playable red & morrie and the additional story scenes being locked to that version is a huge shame

XI is so cool for bringing back dq3 style make your own party, and the combo stuff is neat to play around! DQ8 is just an all-timer, I would love a gorgeous remake that looks like the latest DBZ games

I need Dragon Quest 8 to be added to more platforms, stat. Such a wonderfully crafted game that I would easily recommend to my friends if physical copies weren't so outrageously expensive. Mobile release isn't good enough.

Personally, I want 7, but for selfish reasons. I've beaten all but 7 and the MMO, and I'd like a chance to play it modern. But 9 would be really, really close too, because I'd love to play it with my family in an easier fashion together!

An updated DQVII would also be great, though personally I’d love for SE to lean more towards the original style with an HD2D remake.

Oh definitely! I actually only played the original. The 3DS one came out in my "completely broke" period, which I missed. But I think HD2D would be ideal!
