I would like a list of conservative ideas that The Global and Mail thinks are 1) edifying and horizon-expanding; 2) something I haven't heard before. Is it the slurs? The taunts? The accusations-as-confession? The recriminations? The threats of sexual and other violence against me and/or others?

Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

No, rape isn't ok. Yes, I believe everyone is entitled to equal rights. Those aren't things that we should be expected to compromise.
TL/DR: "an informed person on the left would miss out on very little substantive policy discussion by excluding GOP-loyal sources, as the current right-wing movement offers few unique perspectives."
Seriously, anyone who doesn’t want to listen to screaming nazis all day every day on Twitter is “the Left?”
Sad.
One of the things I learned is that the paradox of tolerance is real and being intolerant to intolerant people is, in fact, tolerance.
You've nailed it already:
Except I take my social media like I take my tea—I don't like pieces of shit in my tea.

Also I don't need to go "engage" with these people. They want me dead or in prison, they've literally said it to my face.
The grinch broadened horizons until his broadener was sore, but failed to consider anything he hadn’t before.
Would not recommend.
But left-wing folks talking thoughtfully without being attacked is bothersome.
Sums up modern conservatism pretty well.
