Hey, so I know someone who played in Tentatek Division in Splatoon 3, collected badges in it, and switched to Takoroka Division to get those versions of the same badges. They ranked in and got no badges after the season ended. Can you not own both versions of the same badges? - ThreadSky

you cant get both. its dependent on the first division you choose since that update.

I think you can only obtain one version of the badge but it can be from either region. You can only collect the first instance of that badge (ex. First appearance being in Ttek 30k gives you the Ttek 30k badge, therefore locking you out of the Takoroka badge).

Could be wrong tho.

this early, when events are still a thing? I figured a year after updates, bcuz a lot of the patches and such could change weapons and subs drastically, which was something he complained about when making the bios

doesn't hurt to research the parts of the game that are unlikely to change with future updates

the game may still receive balance patches but i doubt they're modifying how badges are distributed anymore

I don't really know. I mostly main the .52 gal so I wouldn't know for sure
