It’s the slowest slow burn fic I’ve ever read. So much so that I feel detraquee (woman w mental illness) from the pining. But it’s worth it because it starts with Hermione’s growth, it rewrote Harry’s battle w Voldemort into a something that made more sense than the book or movie, (½)
Then Hermione settling in her career (and she’s badass and so real in her own way), and trying to figure out her advocacy of better treatment for house elves. It also has a sweet narrative of Draco giving her gifts and she’s just so deep in pining and denial(2)
