We’re all using some model of Yokomo chassis. Front front to back:
RX7 is a YD-2Z
S15 (mine) is a YD-2S
Aristo is an SD 2.0

Mine is the oldest of them all, I can definitely tell after driving them. Been updating parts to match the others and can say it’s helped a ton but still a little left to go!

I’ve debated just buying a newer chassis and being done but Ngl I’ve had so much fun tuning, finding what works, dropping chassis weight, messing with alignment, tinkering, etc. Yesterday was a HUGE improvement from last time so I was pretty stoked! But I can tell there’s still more to get from it!

I used to race a long time ago, back in the early 2000's but have been thinking about getting back into it for a bit. It's progressed so much since I was racing. I used to race a Tamiya M03, Tamiya TRF-414M and an old Team Associated TC3. Also had a Nitro powered Traxxas T-MAXX.

I also had an HPI RS4 Mini as well, one of the first run ones. When I was in it, crawling was just starting to make its first rumbling and drifting was just starting to be roughed out.

Ohh hell yeah! :D I had a few nitros back in the day but the introduction of lipo’s really changed the electric game. I guess this is really the first time I’ve been THIS into RC. It still blows my mind how adjustable and delicate rwd drifting is and I’m hooked on it haha.
