It’s not even “eat the rich,” it’s just “actions have reactions;” everyone knows this business model means the insurance companies don’t get paid unless my doctor doesn’t get paid which means I eventually die or go homeless. It’s not rocket science.
While Jill is saying this type of stuff on LinkedIn the Democrats are worried they’ll sound too radical if they even nod at going after insurance companies.
I'm just saying, someone in the BBC news website team *chose* this one to put on their front page (they also have one where he doesn't have a massive smirk)
His super hell is trying to navigate his own company's customer service line to reach an actual human who can stop the spiked ceiling that's lowering onto him by one centimeter every hour.
The LinkedIn platform removed all the reaction types that were either negative or even slightly ambiguous a few years ago. All the available reactions are positive. Some people on the platform have taken to using the 😂 lol reaction to mean something like what twitter users meant by the 🤡 clown.
Sounds like UHC. I work in claim denials management for a third party vendor on behalf of hospitals. While there is no condoning murder, there is also no condoning how people like that can make hundreds of millions of dollars leaving people out to pasture.
Also, working effectively against insurances to get the hospitals paid and mitigate patient responsibility fills me with a borderline psychotic level of pride
God, if only. There’s a thing called authorization, where they say they need a heads up to pay, or that they’ll cover a certain amount of service per year. Prescheduled services like chemo, cat scan, mri, etc., need pre-auth. Emergency room services are usually exempt but they’ll fight it still
No shame. It's not ideal, but you were earning a normal salary for normal work. Sounds like you made a change to something better when you could. You weren't making millions setting policy.
