have you played anything in the Syberia series? they're kinda old now but there's some fun automaton content you might like!
Shardlight and Primordia, both by Wadjet Eye are pretty good and up your alley I think (one is a classic cyberpunk story and one is big robot feelings)
also Daedalic when it was still publishing games made about a million point and clicks and their megabundle regularly goes on sale, if you ever want like, a cute little game in your back pocket
If you are into murder investigations and the supernatural, I highly recommend picking up the entire Blackwell Legacy series. It's basically a five-episode story. Art style changes a lot per episode, and the VO is divisive, but the writing is EXCELLENT.
Later, Alligator! Itβs a super cute animated point & click adventure set in Gator New York City! The team who wrote & drew Baman Piderman made it! It made me laugh a bunch of times on a night I was feeling real down! You should try it!
Also, its spiritual sequel set in the same universe, Book of Hours. It still has the time juggling mechanic, but itβs way less stressful because the stakes are lower and the focus is more on exploration.
It depends on the genre! I'm sure people have said Baldur's Gate series, but a bunch of games now have controller support! I can dig through my library - what type of genre are you looking for?
1. citizen sleeper: great story
2. death and taxes: cute little game about being a grim reaper
3. mind scanners: good game with some INTRIGUE
4. midnight protocol: i was so engrossed with the story
5. bg3: a small indie dnd game lol
The only one I played was the one with the wizards I'm New York that I can't remember the name of, but yeah, Wadjet Eye point and click adventures are great.
Also going to add Mischief by @tavernratstudios.com for controller-focused.
Fun little action game with local co-op, bit of exploring, driving and platformer bits but mainly a fun chaotic game fighting various bosses as an adorable little rat π
Thanks Cas! β€οΈπ» we do have full controller support and if you stream it let us know weβd love to come hang in chat while you play @kiennas.bsky.social ! πβ€οΈπ
I watched a friend play Coffee Talk on stream. Mostly a visual novel with some mouse clicking to advance text and make drinks. Cozy with elements of drama.
Chants of Sennaar, Return of the Obra Dinn, The Case of the Golden Idol, The Rise of the Golden Idol, Citizen Sleeper 1 & 2, Strange Horticulture, Beacon Pines, Yes Your Grace, Tavern Talk... I like point-and-click games a lot.

Age of Mythology remake on console to anyone! Itβs surprisingly good on a controller.

Absolutely recommending Technobabylon if you haven't played that one, but practically anything published under Wadjet Eye Games is a winner
I also recently enjoyed Loco Motive, a murder mystery on a train.

The art is super cute and the gameplay is pretty fun and quite challenging to time everything right. Demo out at the moment with full release soon!
Strongly recommend a solo-play though offstream to enjoy it fully. Itβs a deep and moving experience if you can focus on it fully.
