Lots of people have severe illnesses with no risk factors. People with ALS and other grave, life limiting illnesses would like you to know that anything could happen.
My eldest sister (who's 58 now) has always said that she prefers to be the eldest at the gym rather than the youngest with a walker. And ain't that the truth.
you're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older
and now you're even older
and now you're even older
you're older than you've ever been
and now you're going older
and now you're older still
This song reminds me specifically of a video from decades ago where someone was playing Rollercoaster Tycoon and crashed the rollercoaster into a crowd of people holding balloons. (I'm not sure how you're supposed to respond to that.)
Absolutely true. As an older person, inside I am as young as I ever was. Perhaps a bit wiser, but still the me of my 20s. It is my body, the shell, that betrays with age. So, use it to live life as fully as you can at whatever age.
Screw my future itself, they've never done anything for me. And I know they have that time machine. Probably not doing it out of spite for the poor condition I left them in.
I am 76, and just yesterday, I told someone they could not pay me enough to return to my youth—not because it was so bad but because my present life is so good.
Well into my eighth decade and still having as much fun as I can, every day!
Of course, not as much as before, but hey…!
Make great memories, for as long as you can, and hope you can still remember them. 😎

You're not old until there's a comma in your age.

Younger than I'll be...
.... Paul Simon, The Boxer, a verse he only inserts sometimes.
Lie la lie, lie la lie la lie la lie, la la la la lie
