I was working with the San Diego/Tijuana chapter of Habitat for Humanity when I had the honor of meeting President Carter, First Lady Rosalind Carter, and Millard Fuller. People often say he was our greatest ex-president. That may be true, but negates the fact that he was one of our greatest, ever.
