Some enhancements are certainly better than others, but yes. There are definitely a handful of games that are a considerable downgrade on PS5 Pro and it's disappointing that these developers haven't addressed it.

The tech making games look worse is on Sony, not the devs. They're the ones making eight hundred and fifty dollars from the Pro, devs don't get a dime of that. So it's on Sony to resolve it.

Neither devs nor consumers have any reason to cover for Sony's busted AI upscaling.

I respectfully disagree. 😊 I would be with you if we didn't see any good PS5 Pro enhancements across the board. But, there are games that make great use of the hardware. As such, I believe it's likely on the dev side.

But that said, I'm with you that Sony needs to step in and assist where possible.

There's nothing clickbait about it. We quote Digital Foundry saying that PSSR has had a negative impact on the way the game looks. It doesn't matter whether the remedy lies at a software or a hardware level, PSSR is still the variable here and it's what's leading to different results from base PS5.
