If only there was a document or a policy of some sort that protected the country from a strongman/king authoritarian control. If only that enshrined document/policy dictates a series of checks and balances to protect us from the over reach of government, one man and his vindictive wishes. IF only
No, you left Britain because a gang of slaver scum rioted in Boston throwing a valuable cargo of tea into the sea, then the government retaliated in a brutal and counterproductive fashion getting the abolitionists angry as well and after years of losing the war, the French finally won it for you.
America is not a country, It's a business. Money trumps integrity and peoples lives and livelihoods.
Your oppression is their profession.
(Yes, I know North America is a continent)
that is just it. the GOP has stacked in almost every level of government and the judicial branch cronies with their way of thinking. and since all the boot lickers get to line their pockets and inflate their egos at our expense
Please use better language for what is happening here.
He is attempting to overthrow our democracy and place him and his rich handlers in charge of a new dictatorship.
Soft language and coddling the mad man will only help him accomplish this goal.
...if only this tyrant recognized that he serves at the mercy of the PEOPLE through the same Congress that he is trying to seize power from. Remove him from office to END all this chaos and attempt to derail America.
He doesn’t care about laws, ethics or norms. He wants to be a dictator. Sadly, regular folks who voted from him thought he’d be helping them improve their lives. They were conned again.
Congress has the power of the purse. There's a reason for this. #trump wants to seize all the power, and the best way to do this is to control the money. We can't let this happen!
Isn’t Nixon, another republican president the whole reason we have the Impoundment Control Act that was enacted in 1974 so presidents can’t do something like this?
Valerian? Not likely, a military coward
Caligula? No virility, but plenty of madness…
Who’s a Mad, Ineffective, disliked Emperor or King that DonOLD Dottard tRump could be even compared to?
He wants to not only divert as much as possible to his own gaping pockets, but reward “loyalists” and punish “enemies.” Where TF is CONGRESS? Meekly cowering? Busy licking the dementia shoes?
Isn't it ironic that a party called "Republican" is working feverishly to restore the Monarchy in America?
Because if the Executive usurps the power of the purse from the legislative branch, that's what you're left with, achieving now what King George failed to do in the War of Independence. Weird.

At least, we're not supposed to.
All executive orders and no bills.
Fascism.
