Who could have seen this coming? A President with zero economic literacy, making decisions based on his mood.Meanwhile naturally,China and Europe are stepping up with economic stimulus.Funny, Americans thought tariffs were a tax on foreigners—now they’re realizing it’s a tax on themselves.
Following a man with a proven track record of failure — including six bankruptcies — is a path to ruin. Blind loyalty to someone who repeatedly mismanages finances risks dragging everyone into economic chaos. In turbulent markets, trusting incompetence isn’t just careless — it’s catastrophic.
The investors, big corporations, and others with more money than most were afraid of losing their money, so they sold their values, democratic principles, and backbones for the sake of it (and their own interests)—much like the general supporters of Trump. Civics matters—even for the wealthy.
His plan is to destroy the economy so his American oligarch friends can buy up assets cheap. He hates the US and it shows every single day. (go ahead an offer me examples of where I'm wrong, if you'd like!)
I’m still puzzled to see how many people are surprised by what they get
It’s what Kamala didn’t stop saying at her rallies and people could not care less :
1/ nobody knew her
2/she’s a woman
3/she’s black
Ones say it’s Biden’s fault to withdraw so late.
I say: people vote and also many didn’t..
Talking with my American friends, I was shocked to find out that they didn't vote and don't really know what's going on. Apathy, political impotence, and feeling disenfranchised seemed to be their excuse. As a Canadian, I am better versed and able to explain the current American political landscape.
If there had been a primary I don’t think she would have won. I blame the Biden administration, they should have made it clear he wasn’t running for a second term from the beginning and made a point to show her leadership. The biggest argument used against her was “what did she do the last 4yrs”.
100% agree, which is why it was so important for the Biden administration to highlight her competence. After 4yrs in office people were still asking who is she, what can she do. Which is normal for a first term VP of a POTUS running for a second, but never should have considered running again IMO.
People who follow Trump‘s advice are walking down a gang plank and out fall off the edge of the ship. They simply think he’s a genius when in fact, he’s driven six companies into bankruptcy he disparages the veterans and yet he found ways to avoid the draft with six different evaluations
I'm no economist but even I understood that Trump's 'pro growth agenda' was the biggest load of old bollocks since his denial of being involved with Project 2025
Yes, but until hurt is real for his sycophants & corporate lackeys nothing will change. That is why Canada charging 25% on electricity is a step in the right direction. Breaking a treaty has consequences, especially w/friendly neighbor.
For those in those areas impacted by this surcharge, don’t blame Canada, blame the neighbors that voted for Trump. All those idiots flying Trump flags or wearing Trump hats, they are to blame for the pain we are all going to feel.
You're buddies on Wall Street did nothing but cry about wage growth for 4 straight years causing inflation. Now that the Fed went ahead and actually raised and held up rates you want to complain.

Anything else is secondary.
