Batman having two live action film franchises at the same time is really stupid and I don't see it working out. Most casual audiences can't tell the difference between DC and Marvel (my dad still thinks Batman is a Marvel character), I doubt they'll differentiate different DC universes.

And which do you think casuals are gonna associate with the mostly live action universe? How many people already think these are in the same world?
Reeves should either play ball or Gunn just shouldn't give DCU Batman any-
It COULD work, since the DCEU already established a Batman 20 years before Superman, but.....me.😒😒
Because honestly, Batman getting two movie series at the same time while Wonder Woman gets nothing and has her game cancelled is some serious fucking bullshit.
The Batman is still the best Batman movie, IMO, but this Batman NEEDS a Robin to not just be an alternative to Bale/Nolan.
And seriously, I WANT Pattinson to have a Robin. He'd be PERFECT for it.
But Reeves NEEDS to get Dick right, even if it means people thinking he's portrayed incorrectly, like they did with Andrew Garfield's Spidey.
Dick should have more rage and edginess than Pattinson did in+
Dick should NOT be his Nightwing persona from the get-go and anything less would show Reeves couldn't understand the character.
- Tony Zuko's there and works for whatever Big Bad is in the movie.
- Dick's origin plays out accurately.
- Pattinson learns how to check his own emotions to give Dick a good example to live off of.
The real question is why are we already getting him in here when we could focus on other chars
Yeah, that definitely proves my point.
Yet Gunn thinks having two Batman film series won't be confusing.
