I finished Ys X: Nordics last night and can safely say it's now my favourite Ys game from Falcom. I loved what they did with the worldbuilding, and the use of Norse mythology, the characters were charming and loveable, and exploring Obelia Gulf felt incredible. 10/10 game. 😌 - ThreadSky

it really reminded me a lot of 8 and i loved it for that, definitely the best combat in the series but proooooooobably the worst bosses til late game, but the characters and the story in this game are SOOOOOOO good

something tells me we won't see that for a LONG WHILE but at the very least it would be cool if in every Ys game from now on they foreshadow it more and more or we get a game that involves time-travel and saving old man Adol and Dogi from whatever caused them to disappear
