What I find so frustrating about the last decade of Trans Panic is that there must have been at least some neutral journalists. Why didn't any of them just ask a few probing questions to "Gender Criticals" like this? It's so easy to get them to contradict themselves.

"Gender Critical" is the belief that this obviously infinite back and fourth has a conclusion with a definition that actually works how they want it to

Lewis, Ditum and Moore were among the first. Ditum wrote a whole article in the Guardian about changing her views on trans women. 🙄 Bandwagon started rolling.
Remember who *owns* all the media.
I'm just saying putting people in charge of the media with a vested interest in this dystopia is a not a great way to challenge it.
When I read something in the mainstream media about a subject on which I'm knowledgeable, it's often clear that it's been rushed out with little thought or application.
I think though ultimately it's all backed up by a lack of integrity in morality, principles, and values
But still, as you say…
Nobody is truely neutral.
"'cos science!"
Sure, but apparently you're unable to see or accept the simple flaws in your logic, which isn't very sciency now is it
Never forgetting doing a piece for the Irish GRA in 2015 for a newspaper and it got cut
After that cause Wizard Book Lady decided to control the conversaation no one DARE challenge her! She wrote Wizard Book after all!
All that said, this year they've pivoted to "actually, they're both men".
I find it most frustrating that people wouldn't instantly recognize the shift from the no-longer palatable homophobia and racism to another less protected victim minority, but that was never in the cards with the not only amoral but anti-moral journalism of the last 20 years.
They may not really be invested in either side
Ideally, they should be objective, not neutral.
