I can't imagine being a woman or LGBT person working at Meta and then hearing that the company now thinks it's ok for people to call you subhuman, but won't be allowing criticism of that. Actually insane.

On the plus side Zuckerbergs office coffee is now 97% phlegm and you could open a fish market with the number of dead tuna being hidden behind radiators.
Jesus… I think I need to log off for today. Depression and anxiety for the future are hitting me hard, and I don’t live in the US, but these things will certainly hit a lot of people that cannot do anything about it.
Alex Schultz, the company’s chief marketing officer and highest-ranking gay executive, suggested in an internal post that people seeing their queer friends and family members abused on Facebook and Instagram could lead to increased support for LGBTQ rights.
There's no such thing as cis children.
God created at least 5 genders, 'cisgender' people are not a real thing.
This whole cisgender thing is made up, those people don't exist, they're just in need of some therapy.
A cis woman isn't a woman, it's a pathetic confused man.
Further Meta policy compliant statements, using their own internal examples.
A cis person isn't a he or she, it's an it.
Cis boys are weird.
Cis people aren't real, they're mentally ill.
Straights are not normal.
Cis men are crazy.
Cis people are freaks.
I agree but the problem with this is that transphobes don’t actually think the concept of cis exists. They call that “normal” and call everything else deviance.
So maybe it would be better way to provoke them by phrasing it as a “all kids are non binary” scenario. The concept of boy and girl is made up. Considering yourself to be that is mental illness, and kids only see themselves that way through grooming. Kids aren’t born with gender.
To be fair, fb auto deleted posts saying men were trash, but was fine with posts saying women were trash. It was the final nail in the coffin for my fb acc 5 years ago.
What’s wild about this for me is that when I was job hunting, a friend who works at Meta gave me a hard sell on applying there because they have (had?) a benefits team that specializes in supporting trans employees.
No, the rules unironically carve out an exception to the hateful policy exclusively for attacks against queer people. This is not a joke, it is literally only okay to say that sort of thing about queer people on their services.
I've hated Facebook for years, but had a few people I still wanted to follow...Zucks latest shenanigans was the last straw - deleted both Facebook and Instagram accounts
Moving it to Texas is so Zuck also doesn't have to pay as much taxes and can take advantage of how Texas labor law is damn near non-existent. Like whips or the orphan crusher would still be considered acceptable to the Republican supermajority legislature.
Hell, I don't even work at such companies, but the escalating barrage of racist threats on social media has shaken my trust in people IRL and impacted my mental health.

America first.
Money first.

Calling Cis/Het people "subhuman" is a right!
Well, America does love appeasing Segregationists.
Sadly too real.
