I’ll die on the hill that we need to talk about how old people are hoarding their power & wealth in a way that hurts everyone under 70, to the point that it’s literally leading to the apocalypse (climate change), among many other issues.
And it’s not ageism: they are being ageist against the young.

2. It’s not about the need for individual change as much as larger infrastructure, much of which is falling apart for younger people.
This applies to everyone from Mitch McConnell to a homeowner. We are dealing with massive disparities that has caused one generation to be valued over all that come after.
Might be that they don't have hobbies or friends or family that doesn't resent them at this point. Like damn build a deck or tinker on a car or something.
just people who've been dying in.massively inflated numbers because of covid.
You don't care the the vast majority of elderly people are poor, have medical problems and dealing with the the way covid leaves them isolated also mean they mostly lack suport
Because "old people are not dying fast enough" is not an argument im going to buy.
Provide datt to back up that claim please
Which old people? The ones that were born in a time when houses were cheaper & salaries were 1.30 an hour with no benefits or 401k who bought a home for multi-generational use (who have since died off)
But what a full life means, what that wisdom is, and where it can be applied varies between person to person.
The issue is that older politicians don't want to make room for more younger, more diverse candidates. They could easily step down and support younger candidates, yet don't.

You choose how you want to live and go for it. Or you can give up and point fingers.
Boomers were where you are right now, if not worse. Most are trying to help, but…
some responsibility does fall on the individual
However I can’t in good conscience let young folks make geriatric policies when those exact same policies will be used against them when they’re 70+.
Young people see boomers pulling up the ladder, but don’t see them pointing to the stairs!
