There's a sizeable segment of right-wing fundamentalist Jewish people who believe that the Republican Party will keep Israel "safer," meaning allowing Netanyahu and his minions to do whatever the fuck they want. Unsurprisingly, neither I nor my other Jewish friends are on that particular team.
