@apple @tmobilesupport.bsky.social Since everyone is reaching out about this, I’m going to add my 2 cents. I haven’t updated my iPhone because I want nothing to do with Starlink. I will ditch this iPhone & I will ditch T-Mobile if I have to. That’s how strongly I feel… Give us the option to opt out!

I am sick and tired of supporting these right wing tech freaks when I don't use their services or products but I have to pay for the infrastructure to support their lifestyle and their employees.
Paying taxes is not treason.
1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Go to Privacy & Security
3. Scroll to bottom to find System Services
4. Tap Location Services settings related to satellite connectivity
5. Adjust these settings to manage how your device interacts with satellite services
My best sources to see how to protect my digital footprint have been https://eff.org, https://WIRED.com, and asking for how-to steps using an AI chatbot app: Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, Copilot. Also, Aura for protection from identity theft, scams, surveillance https://buy.aura.com/what-is-aura/
I've been happy with my iPhone and with ATT, but I'm not afraid to go back to being unconnected.
De- select satellite
Iphone14 & up has starlink
Settings>Privacy and Security>Location Services>System Services(at the bottom of the list)> Satellite Connection> turn to off position.
