Like Biden should have stepped aside, Schumer needs to heed the words of President Kennedy, "The torch is passed to a new generation", and step aside in favor of the Next Generation, be it AOC or some other younger LEADER. Schumer has a lot to teach, and that should be his future role. Cory knows.
It's a great step in the right direction. But there needs to be massive primaries coming in the next few years also. Too many in the Democratic party are not up to the task of doing the will of the base/American people. There should be widespread primary pressure from the base against incumbents.

I totally agree about Schumer. Took me awhile to change my mind but I have come around. My only worry about her and Bernie is that they have divided the party even in the last election. The Palestine issue, as noble as it was sunk us in many ways and she led those disagreements. Hope she’s changed.
