$800 per MONTH because I live in a home built in 1869 and they don't want to insure historic homes.

I had hoped within a couple years things would stabilize and there would be a gradual return to market, but I don't know what will happen now. Loss ratios were unsustainable before, so it's going to be very wait and see
The rates go up for everyone to pay for those who experienced catastrophe. Insurance is a safety net we pay for so EVERYONE paying in can benefit. So, why are insurance companies acting like assholes? Greed!
