And we can't forget the new pick for Ambassador to France, Charles Kushner, his son in laws father. Kushner pleaded guilty to federal charges of tax evasion, campaign finance offences and witness tampering (hired a prostitute to lure his brother in law and filmed it) Trump pardoned him in 2020
It's rare but France could refuse to approve the nomination of Kushner, I read they are not too pleased "we console ourselves as best we can" a former French Ambassador to the US wrote😏

Trump restored his rank despite Gallagher posing with dead bodies. The restored rank is an issue, but it's technically not a pardon.
