While you're debating whether women firefighters can carry a man out of a fire, it's worth remembering that women also carry them off of the battlefield. Grow up.

Having hired firefighters for 30 years in career and part-time positions, if the testing is fair and reflects the actual job requirements, women are absolutely capable of meeting requirements. I watched a 110-pound woman run a 250-pound NFL player into the ground because she worked damn hard.
In 2025, to debate unusually high physical strength as a qualification for a public service job like firefighting is is an unnecessary distraction. Intelligence, equipment, teamwork, thinking on your feet, comunication, willingness to work, and prioritization are all vastly more important!
It's less about 'high physical strength' and more about well-balanced strength, conditioning and endurance. Carrying a person is more about weight distribution then brute force.
Men think big muscles are required, but a lot of swol guys have little to no endurance.
I know a lot of men who can’t carry water, a baby, a bag of groceries, or a plan to completion. That all men are capable of fighting fires is laughable.
I don’t need to find contradictory data to a post that is a false argument. Women who are on the battlefield and are firefighters have to pass the same tests that men do. Case closed.
A man speaking here. According your standards a woman can't be a nurse either. Because nurses sometimes have to lift patients in order to do their job. A firefighters job is not only about strenght. It takes much more then just strenght to be a good firefighter, but you are to stupid to understand.
Women as a whole are not the physical equal of men. They equal men perhaps in ultra-marathons, horse riding, shooting and a few others, but otherwise...
Of course the standard by some men is to Carry a man out of a fire. There are women, children and pets. There are small men and large and/or strong women. Go away as this is ridiculous.
And would be fighting on battlefields more often if they hadn't been forced out of it by the patriarchy. Probably have been present as fighters historically more often than we hear about, in spite of the patriarchy. Not to diminish your point. "Yes, and!"
I worked with a woman who did races where for part of it they had to carry someone over their shoulders. So women can also carry men competitively also, not just in battle or emergency situations.
As a teenager I learned how to rescue drowning victims including large men. Later in First Aid courses I learned ways to carry unconscious men. Rural volunteer fire fighters include both men and women. Whether women can be firefighters is not the debate we need to have.
Well you see, when I see women being tougher than me it makes me think about my teeny weeny pp and how angry it makes me that I'm not entitled to sex slaves.
My daughter weighs 75 pounds and I routinely carry her upstairs… if my job was to carry human beings out of fires- I would assume that I would be prepared for that.
Sorry if you got me wrong. I'm not a magat and I'm not upset either. If you want gender equality, please stop expressing the wish of domination. By "y'all" I meant those fake "feminists" who just wanna oppress others and are using the whole feminist movement as a mask.
Then call me a fake feminist because I dont know what kind of world you live in, but the one I'm watching and living in is being destroyed by men who are taking away womens rights and supporting rapists. Im not a fan of standing around and waiting for the Earth to die because women are emotional
What world do I live in? My country has seen two centuries worth of political drama in the last 30 years. I wish women rights were our top priority. Also, some men doing horrible shit doesn't justify you to do horrible shit to all men.
I'm puny, scrawny, not exactly fit, closer to the tombstone than the cradle, and I even can toss a feller crost my shoulders carry him like a sack of taters.
Men and women are equal but different. Women and men are different but equal
And that’s ok!
Appreciating each other’s differences makes us all stringer.
- my string feminist mom taught me that over and over again. She’s still correct.
That’s because some men feel threatened and emasculated by a strong woman due to outdated gender roles. A.K.A they are sad pathetic weak assholes such as orange Julius!

Do you seriously believe women are as strong as men? Do you have a bf or husband? Have you measured your relative strengths?
Again. They have to pass the same tests. What are you overcompensating for with your insistence? That you’re weak?
This test is gender neutral.
It is too easy for men as they pass easily, and that's not good for army fitness.
(this is satire don't @ me weirdos)
Save my life, I don't care what you are.

Taking the strength of character women bring to the military, It would descend into the toxic masculinity shown in Vietnam. Men need to grow up.
They were kicked out of Eden because ADAM ate the apple.
