I am watching my follower count go up on this platform and it is reminding me of the old school days on Twitter and making me so happy when I see more of our crew defecting. I wish there was a way to get everyone a welcome cocktail.

I'll fix myself a welcome cocktail on your behalf! Nice to see your posts again, I left Twitter as soon as it was clearly going to be sold to Musk. I logged in only this morning to scrape my accounts, find people on bluesky and deactivate it.
I left Twitter when Musk took over. I've missed these posts and the interaction, but I couldn't handle the toxicity of Twitter. Nice to kick the tires here!
The big accounts are not following back. It’s a bit disappointing. It’s like small accounts don’t matter. Is it my cat picture?😅 I’m a real person with thoughts & ideas.
It’s ok..building up again is fun too, you get to know your followers again. Ppl are quite nice here and actually engage. So refreshing!! Bon courage hon!!🙌🏼🦋

It's just cool to actually get to engage with real people again...people I would never have access to in real life but who are insightful, educated and funny. It's also nice to not have to be quite as "on guard" although it appears that Gambia already made the move.
I think I will leave my account there to tread water, but I won't be giving Musk anymore content. Just crickets so he can experience his platform like we have lately.
One thing to help your many old followers is to use https://buffer.com for a few weeks which allows cross posts to 3 different platforms for free and add “Come join me on bluesky for discussion” at the end of your posts!
Agreed! I almost, ALMOST, broke open my collectors bottle of "Saints" (THE Boondock Saints, BTW!) bourbon, but nah.

Me either! I signed up (my second time) after the leaked Dobbs decision because I wanted to spare my family of everything I had to say on a daily...hourly basis. It started off well, but then sort of plateaued and there I sat....... Hoping that here it will be different.
