I left X because I felt completely filtered. The platform was overrun with pro-Trump bots, escort services, fake sugar mamas, and an army of Elon Musk bots trying to lure me into clicking suspicious links, likely scams. X is a mess now; it’s nothing like the Twitter it used to be.

Reddit always varied in quality by individual subreddit, but there were a lot of REALLY bad ones that gave it a terrible reputation.
