Day 3 recording the audiobook for my book. Thoughts: 1. No mind-wandering allowed! It's absolutely exhausting. 2. I wonder, though, how many takes you needed to successfully complete the reading of that sentence involving "rog" & their variants (rôg, rrôg, rrôgg, rrôôg, etc.) in the language change chapter.....😂

Recording the words of the made up language (rog, rôg, etc.) was both painful and hilarious. Not sure I ever got the # of rogs right. I never thought about the audiobook when I was writing; possibly if I’d thought about it, I would have changed some of the text to make reading aloud easier!

When I heard that "rog" sentence during my walk, I had to stop, rewind, & listen to it again. It was funny. Must have been tough not to laugh.

Great! I listen to audiobooks during my morning walks, so I look forward to listening to your book! Please ask your publisher, though, to provide a PDF supplement w/ figures/tables, notes, & references (many audiobooks don't come with one). I'm sure I'll want to check some references in your book.

Yes, I hate it when the endnotes etc. are missing from audiobooks! Mine will have a supplemental PDF. I've also requested to record the acknowledgements, which also are often missing in audiobooks.
