Ooo I thought we weren’t supposed to freeze potatoes? Something with their water content and changing the texture? But if they’re cooked maybe it’s okay?
Oh yeah. I never worry about freezing cooked potatoes. In stew, or soup. Another thought: potato soups, there are many variations. I don't make it, but friend, with a GREAT garden makes leek potato/other veggie potato pureed soups and freezes them for work lunches.
