Yeah, I am still a bit baffled. It's wild to me how so many other people seem to be living in a completely different reality.
I still believe that people are naturally good, but now I'm more concerned that there are a lot of people who have some serious difficulty w/ discerning fact from fiction.
Agreed. Iβve been teaching history and government for 15 years and I feel like an utter failure. Most people donβt think and really examine their beliefs and ideas and wellβ¦it wonβt be long until weβre in full idiocracy mode and watering our crops with Gatorade. π
Unfortunately, me! Live in GA. We turned blue for Biden but not for the vile monster. Thankfully the county where I live (metro ATL) was big-time blue so that helps to know many of my βneighborsβ voted for an inclusive America.
It's rough. I complained at the avenues Smiths the other night after my shopping experience was ruined by a Trumplican MAGA who inserted herself into my conversation about how Kamala is evil and the darkness that emcompasses our country. I said really? It's not the lying cheating 34 x felon rapist?!
Right? These people are living in an alternate reality. The 'right wing noise machine' has been brutally effective at normalizing and sane-washing an obviously horrible human being, and demonizing normal, measured, good-natured people.
